No more classes at Atlantic Cape Community College. The college announced that online education will be held through March 30th. Classes are cancelled from March 23rd through the 29th; then, starting on March 30th, online education will begin.
St. Augustine Prep and Our Lady of Mercy Academy are both closed until March 30th. Both schols have suspended all campus activities. Teachers at St. Augustine report to school on Monday to discuss cyber education.
The all new American Dream Mall in northern New Jersey is shutting its doors as a precaution to the coronavirus. The mall is closing on Monday and anticipates being closed through the end of March.
The Diocese of Trenton, which handles four counties in northern New Jersey, is closing its 35 Catholic schools and 100 religious education programs. Schools will be closed at least through March 27th.

Avalon is staying ahead of the coronovirus crisis by cancelling all Borough sponsored group activities through April 10th. In a posting on its municipal website, Avalon will also keep its Community Hall and Senior Center closed until that date as more information about the virus and advisories become available.
The spring bridal event scheduled for the Wildwoods Convention Center this Sunday will not happen. An announcement came this afternoon that the event will be postponed due to advice and directives related to the coronavirus outbreak.
The Wildwood Catholic boys basketball team will not get the chance to compete for a state championship this weekend. The NJSIAA has cancelled the remainder of the boys and girls basketball playoffs due to the coronavirus. The Ocean City girls’ team also loses a chance to compete for a state title.
Sea Isle City has postponed its annual St. Patrick’s Day parade. The parade scheduled for Saturday will not be held; however, there are plans to hold the parade on Saturday, April 18th instead.
