A number of new prosecutor nominations were placed on Thursday, including in Atlantic County. James McClain was nominated to replace Ted Housel as prosecutor in Atlantic County. Housel’s term is set to expire on June 27. Any nomination will need to be confirmed in the Senate. McClain works in the Prosecutor’s Office currently.
