Two people were killed during a motor vehicle accident in Vineland Sunday night. NJ.com reports that two people lost their lives when a vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with another car. Four people were critically injured. The two deceased victims were from Bridgeton.

17 new cases of coronavirus were reported Sunday in Cape May County. Lower and Upper townships each had five new cases, while Middle Township had four. Only Avalon, Cape May Point, West Cape May, and Woodbine have zero community cases. More than 1,200 people are off quarantine in the Cape during the pandemic.
Atlantic City Police are investigating the shootings of four people in the city early Sunday morning. It happened at Arctic and Iowa avenues shortly before 4:00am. They were all transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division. As of now, no suspects are in custody.
An issue on the Garden State Parkway Sunday afternoon as a convoy to support President Trump briefly shut down traffic on the Parkway in central New Jersey. Police were on hand to disperse the crowd and get traffic back to normal. The motorcade stopped at the Cheesequake service area and proceeded north.
New Jersey reported over 1,700 coronavirus cases on Sunday. That pushes the state’s total during the pandemic close to 240,000 cases. There were four additional deaths reported Sunday.
North Wildwood’s city council meets Wednesday and will consider a liquor license transfer at the Anglesea Pub to McMullan Family LLC. Council is also expected to extend a shared services agreement with Wildwood for a Tax Assessor. Wednesday’s meeting will be held at 5:00pm.
There is a Wind Advisory in effect for the Jersey Cape on Monday. Some rain will move into the region Sunday and winds will gust out of the west to 40mph on the mainland, and near 50mph along the beaches Monday. The advisory remains in effect Monday until 7:00pm.

Cape May County reported 35 new cases of coronavirus on Saturday. All but one of the cases were in the community. Ocean City and Lower Township each had 11 new cases. Only West Cape May, Cape May Point, Stone Harbor, and Avalon have one or zero cases of the virus.
