The high school winter sports landscape will look much different this year. The New Jersey Interscholastic Athletic Association announced that winter sports teams will play only 15 games this season, and as of now, no spectators will be allowed as capacity limits will be enforced. Atlantic County authorities say 27 year old Jaheel Ryan of Willingboro has been charged with robbery following a fight in Atlantic City that led to the fatal stabbing of a 25 year old man. The incident took place at Pennsylvania and Pacific avenues late Saturday night.
Governor Phil Murphy has signed a new executive order that clears the way for indoor sports to have practices, and play games. The order includes sports like basketball, group dance, wrestling, and hockey. Attendance will still be limited to 25 percent of a room’s capacity, or 25 people, whichever number is lower.
Former Sea Isle City Commissioner Steve Libro has passed away at the age of 80. Libro served four years on the City Commission, and also assisted Sea Isle City on its Tourism Commission and Chamber of Commerce. Libro founded the Sea Isle City Recreation Department.

A graduate of Wildwood High School has coached the Los Angeles Lakers to their 17th NBA championship. Frank Vogel led the Lakers to a 106-93 win over the Miami Heat Sunday night to win the title in six games. Vogel is a 1991 graduate of Wildwood High.
