Wildwood Crest has named a park in the memory of Andrew Alameno, a local resident who was killed during the attack on the World Trade Center in 2001. The park is located between Bayview Avenue and New Jersey Avenue. Alameno was a graduate of Wildwood Catholic High School.
Avalon has earned a major environmental achievement award. On Friday, Avalon was honored by ANJEC for presenting a pollinator habitat and beach side science lecture series this past summer.
