Street performers in Ocean City will be restricted under a new ordinance introduced by Council on Thursday night. The new ordinance would require performers to purchase a permit for $50 and they could only perform between Fifth and Sixth streets on the boardwalk. Lower Township Police have arrested an 18 year old local man on drug charges. Police say they arrested Andrew M. Cremin of the Villas early Friday morning on the 200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue after they responded to a suspicious person call. Cremin was in possession of two mason jars full of marijuana.
South Jersey Gas will be doing major infrastructure work in Wildwood Crest starting Monday, weather permitting. The natural gas infrastructure system in the Crest will be converted to high pressure throughout the community as part of a resiliency effort against coastal storms.
