New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy signed a new bill into law that prohibits anyone aged 70 or older from being squeezed out of their jobs due to age. Murphy held a virtual bill signing of the new law on Tuesday.

New Jersey was the very last state in the country that prohibited home baked goods from actualy being sold.
Authorities say two elderly people who were killed in Surf City were targeted for the crime. Authorities say 87 year old John Enders and 75 year old Francoise Pitoy were both found dead in the home Sunday. Police say there is no threat to the public at this time.
The rate of the Covid-19 spread in the Garden State is slowing. New figures released by New Jersey Monday show fewer than 2,000 new cases of the virus, with the rate of transmission falling to 0.91. Nine new deaths were reported.
Two people have been found dead in a Jersey Shore beach home, and authorities believe the deaths are suspicious. The bodies were found inside a home on Long Beach Island. An investigation continues.
Atlantic City Police have arrested a 29 year old man from Mays Landing for having a loaded gun in the waistband of his pants. Donald Segar Jr. was arrested over the weekend at Indiana and McKinley avenues. Hollow point ammunition was loaded inside the gun. Segar was taken to the County Jail.
