Driving is treacherous in Cape May County Monday afternoon due to the winter storm. Lower Township officials announced that its emergency operation center is open, and multiple motor vehicle accidents have occurred throughout the County. County officials announced Monday afternoon that Meals and Wheels and Dialysis transportation will be provided on Tuesday, with all other transportation services cancelled. The four senior centers will also not open on Tuesday. The main branch of the County Library will close Monday at 4:30pm and will not have evening hours.
Cape May County government will reorganize on January 11th, instead of on January 5th. The date has been moved, and the meeting will be held at the Cape May County Public Safety Training Center. The regular meeting will follow the reorganization.
