One of the items at a weekend yard sale in Lower Township? A hand grenade. Township Police report that a hand grenade was found at a yard sale on Shore Drive on Saturday. The area of the yard sale was evacuated, and the grenade was safely secured by the Atlantic City Bomb Squad.
Cape May County reported only 11 new coronavirus cases on Sunday. Avalon and Cape May Point currently have zero community cases of the virus. Five of the new cases are in Lower Township.
