A 54 year old man has died after being shoved on a sidewalk in Vineland. Authorities say Pablo Cruz-Bautista struck his head on a sidewalk and later died of his injuries. The incident took place on East Wood Street, near a liquor store. A 34 year old man was charged in connection with the incident.
New Jersey reported 329 new cases of coronavirus Wednesday, two days before the resumption of indoor dining. State health officials also report 11 new deaths. The numbers have largely stabilized for weeks in the Garden State.

The annual Boardwalk Basketball Classic in Wildwood will not be held this year due to coronavirus. Tournament organizers announced Tuesday that a “variety of factors” surrounding the pandemic has resulted in the tournament being scrubbed. The annual basketball tournament is traditionally held in the Wildwoods Convention Center around the holidays.
The New Jersey Supreme Court has added its first ever African American woman. Fabiana Pierre-Louis was sworn in to the state’s highest bench on Tuesday. The court has a 224 year history. Pierre-Louis was confirmed by the New Jersey Senate last week.
