MEDICAID PROGRAM FOR CHRONICALLY HOMELESS ADVANCES IN STATE SENATE

A bill sponsored by Sen. Jim Whelan and Sen. Ronald Rice is working it’s way through the New Jersey Senate. The legislation would establish a Medicaid program to provide housing-related services to individuals experiencing chronic homelessness. Under the bill, the program would establish State-level collaborative activities, and require individual housing transition services to the chronically homelessness.
