The New Jersey Supreme Court has added its first ever African American woman. Fabiana Pierre-Louis was sworn in to the state’s highest bench on Tuesday. The court has a 224 year history. Pierre-Louis was confirmed by the New Jersey Senate last week.

Both Middle and Dennis townships each added three new resident cases of coronavirus in Monday’s report from the Cape May County Department of Health. There are now 56 active resident cases in the County, and only 27 non resident cases. There are 794 residents off quarantine.
Crowds for indoor weddings and funerals have been increased by the State of New Jersey. Governor Murphy has allowed for crowds as high as 150 or 25 percent of a room’s capacity, whichever number is lower. Groups seating together will be limited to eight per table.
There will be some major work being performed on the New Jersey-bound side of the Delaware Memorial Bridge. Starting next Wednesday, lanes will be closed on the bridge for a major bridge deck overlay project. The project is expected to continue through October 9th.
