Middle Township has hired a new Chief Financial Officer. Susan Quinones has been hired to be the new CFO for the community following the resignation of John Clifford. Clifford will leave the position during the middle of next month. Quinones’ hire was unanimous by the Township Committee.
New Jersey added 22,000 new jobs last month. A new report released by the Christie administration boasts of the largest one-month job gain in the State in the past 20 years. In May, the State reported a job loss of 6,800 positions. That job loss was largely due to an employees’ strike at Verizon.

That’s the question Ocean City residents were asking after a New York City FBI underwater search team concluded an investigation in the waters between Ocean City and Somers Point on Tuesday.
