The Trump administration is reportedly sending 2.4 million cloth masks to New Jersey schools. NJ.com reports that the masks will come at no cost to the school districts and half will be sized for children, and half for adults.
New Jersey reported 498 new cases of coronavirus on Tuesday. Nine new deaths were also confirmed, with seven of them happening in September. New Jersey is now over 197,000 total confirmed cases for the virus.
Six states have been removed from New Jersey’s travel quarantine list. State officials announced that Maryland and Ohio are among the states being removed from the list. Puerto Rico has been re-added to the list.
