A nine year old child was killed during an automobile accident on a Parkway entrance ramp in Ocean County. State Police say the boy was killed Saturday night when a vehicle ran off the road and overturned. The boy has been identified as Jake Olivos of Beachwood.

The victim is from Somers Point and suffering from life threatening injuries. A worker at the gas station helped put out the fire.

Mike Yeager will become the newest councilman in Cape May. The Press of Atlantic City reports that Yeager has been chosen to replace Chris Bezaire, who resigned. Yeager is expected to take his oath of office on Monday.
