Albert Boscov has died at the age of 87. Boscov founded the popular Boscov’s Department Store chain that has a store in Atlantic County. Boscov battled pancreatic cancer and recently told employees that he did not have much time left. The family will continue operating the stores.
North Wildwood intends to knock down the old Triangle Restaurant that was damaged during Hurricane Sandy. Council authorized a resolution this month that will put the demolition project out to bid. The restaurant never reopened following the October, 2012 storm.
