Vineland will be getting a new police chief on Tuesday. The Daily Journal reports that Captain Rudolph Beu IV will be sworn in as the new chief of police during Council’s reorganization meeting. Beu will replace Timothy Codispoti who retired on January 1st.
Egg Harbor Township Police are searching for a 24 year old Philadelphia man who is suspected of stealing wallets and credit cards. Tyrone M. Thomas allegedly has entered doctor’s offices to steal the wallets and then he made fraudulent purchases. Thomas has charges throughout the Garden State for credit card fraud.

A 16 year old boy was critically wounded during a shooting in Vineland over the holiday weekend. Vineland Police say a 16 year old boy was in critical condition at Cooper Hospital after being shot at the Vineland Village Apartments Friday night.
