New Jersey will be expanding its effort to treat those with drug or alcohol addiction. Gov. Chris Christie announced the state is adding close to 900 beds for treatment in the state. Much of Christie’s efforts this year has been geared at addiction.
Vineland and Buena may soon share services when it comes to public safety. The Daily Journal reports that talks are underway between both communities to share policing services. Buena officials confirmed that there is the potential for Vineland to provide some police services to Buena. Buena has only six full time officers.
