One person is dead, two others were injured during a motor vehicle accident on the Atlantic City Expressway in Hamilton Township Monday afternoon. Police say the crash involved only one vehicle, and the highway was closed for a short time pending the investigation. ##
Atlantic City, Margate, and Ventnor have been issued federal subpoenas relating to the investigation of potential health care fraud by public employees. The County grand jury subpoenas were issued in late July; federal subpoenas were issued in late June for the same investigation. ##

One of the longest serving leaders of the New Jersey State Police has died at the age of 89. Clinton Pagano passed away on Sunday after an age related illness. He led the State Police from 1975 through 1990. ##
The New Jersey Assembly voted unanimously Monday on a bill that would force the state to keep beaches and parks open for seven days following a government shutdown. The Assembly also approved a bill that would ban any state governor from using the state-owned beach house during a lockout. ##
The man known on television as Dog the Bounty Hunter has joined a lawsuit to have New Jersey’s new bail reform laws tossed off the books. Duane Chapman spoke in Trenton Monday and says the new bail reforms are causing deaths in the Garden State. ##

A 31 year old Somers Point man who is wanted in Pleasantville for a sexual assault was found on the New York-Canada border. Authorities announced the capture of Jean Milice who allegedly committed the sexual assault back on July 24th. ##
