The pilot of a helicopter that crashed in Delaware on Thursday is from Franklinville, South Jersey. A medical helicopter crashed near the New Castle County Airport, killing the pilot. He departed Atlantic City before the fatal accident. ##

Stone Harbor Mayor Judy Davies Dunhour will parasail onto the beaches in her community on Saturday, instead of Friday. Rough sea conditions have postponed the event by a day; Davies Dunhour will welcome visitors to the beaches at the 95th Street beach at Noon Saturday. ##

A public meeting will be held next week to discuss a bike and pedestrian plan that involves Cape May and Cape May Point. The New Jersey Department of Transportation will hold the meeting on June 3rd at the Cape May City Hall Auditorium. ##
A police cruiser went up in flames during an assignment in Millville Monday night. Police told the Daily Journal that no one was injured in the fire which started near Pine and North 5th Streets. The cause of the fire is likely mechanical in nature. ##
