Gasoline prices have inched up in the Garden State in advance of two holiday weekends. Mid Atlantic AAA reports that gas prices have increased by one cent to $2.33 a gallon, which is ten cents higher than the national average. New Jersey enacted a 23 cent per gallon tax increase on November 1st.
Ocean City Councilman Robert Barr is now heading up the city’s Housing Authority. The Ocean City Gazette reports that Barr replaces former chairman Bill Woods who’s term expires at the end of the month. Barr says the city wants to renovate the Peck’s Beach Village on Fourth Street.
