A portion of Route 47 in Middle Township was closed for two hours Sunday afternoon following an accident between a motor vehicle and a motorcycle. Traffic was diverted near Dias Creek Road following the accident; no word of the identities or injuries suffered by those involved.

Troy Gentry of the successful country music duo Montgomery Gentry was killed in Friday’s helicopter crash in New Jersey. Officials confirm Gentry and the pilot of the aircraft both lost their lives when the chopper they were in crashed near the Flying W airport in Medford. Gentry was 50 years old.
