State Police are seeking the man who robbed a branch of TD Bank in Upper Deerfield Thursday morning. The man handed a teller note demanding some money and made off with an undetermined amount of cash. The bank is located close to the Bridgeton State Police barracks. ##

Avalon has achieved an AAA bond rating from Standard and Poor’s. Mayor Martin Pagliughi announced that for the eighth consecutive year, the Borough has received no suggestions for improvement in its annual audit. He credits work done by the Avalon Finance Office and Council for fiscal stability in the community. ##

The Cape May County Sheriff’s department has again achieved accreditation. Sheriff Gary Schaffer announced that the accreditation is now good for three years and will run through 2020. The department had to meet stringent guidelines in order to achieve this designation. ##
