The United States Coast Guard rescued two boaters who’s boat capsized two miles off Absecon Inlet on Tuesday. Response boats were sent to the region and both were plucked out of the water shortly before Noon. Neither boater was reportedly wearing a life jacket. ##

Police have arrested one man connected to a shooting in Atlantic City over the weekend. Police say Stephen Jacobs of Atlantic City shot a 46 year old man early Sunday morning on Hummock Avenue. There was a second shooting in the city during last weekend; no suspects have yet been charged. ##
