Stone Harbor Police have announced several street closings that will be in effect for a little over a week for various street repaving operations. Sections of Corinthian Drive, 98th Street, Sunset Drive, and 111th Street are among the streets to be repaved in the Borough.
The Cumberland County SPCA animal shelter is in dire financial straits and may close at the end of the year. The Daily Journal reports that letters have been sent to the municipalities in Cumberland and Salem counties that contracts with the shelter will expire at the end of the year, and will not be renewed.
