A 48 year old man from Mays Landing lost his life in a motorcycle accident along Route 50 in Upper Township on Friday night. Police say Stephen Starke’s bike ran off a road and struck a sign, and a tree during the accident.

There’s been another delay in the trial involving Chris Lentz, the former athletic director of Ocean City High School who has been charged with official misconduct and computer criminal mischief. A portion of Route 47 in Middle Township was closed for two hours Sunday afternoon following an accident between a motor vehicle and a motorcycle. Traffic was diverted near Dias Creek Road following the accident; no word of the identities or injuries suffered by those involved.
