Wildwood is planning a parking tunnel in 2018 that will allow motor vehicles to park on a portion of the beach. Wildwood City Commissioner Pete Byron says various beach amenities offered last year were a hit, and beach parking and improvements to the dog park on the beach are coming next year.

A 54 year old Pennsylvania man liked to the government in order to obtain more than a quarter million dollars for a property his mother owned in Ocean City. Nicholas Ochs of Ambler, PA has been charged with disaster benefits fraud and other offenses. He was released Wednesday on $100,000 bond.
