A 14 year old teenager was killed during an ATV accident in Southampton Township, Burlington County. Authorities say the accident occurred around 3pm on Saturday. Two other teens were injured in the accident.
29 year old Robert Bilhardt of Egg Harbor Township admitted in court that he stabbed a 92 year old woman during a home invasion robbery. Bilhardt pleaded guilty to various charges including attempted murder, robbery, and burglary. He faces at least ten years behind bars when he is sentenced in May. ##
16 people were arrested, many of them in Atlantic County, on various gun and drug trafficking charges. Authorities announced that 39 year old Kenneth J. Burrell of Egg Harbor City allegedly headed up the crime ring. Police executed five search warrants and recovered over 20 guns and 10,000 bags of heroin. ##

Vineland Police have recovered up to two kilograms of heroin at a local residence and arrested a man as part of its investigation. Police found the drugs at the home of 43 year old Stephon Teller, who was hauled off to the Cumberland County Jail on various drugs and weapons offenses. ##

Stone Harbor’s Borough Council meets Tuesday afternoon and is expected to discuss a new design for a police building. A presentation will be made to the public by Jerry Blackman and Ray Roberts. Council is also expected to approve a new fireman, and a shared services agreement with Avalon and Sea Isle City. ##
Construction work that will be conducted on Commonwealth Avenue in Strathmere will likely cause some traffic delays during the next three weeks. County Engineer Dale Foster announced that the road will be milled and resurfaced starting on Monday and major travel delays can be expected. ##
The Middle Township Committee meets Monday night and will officially authorize a four year agreement with Elizabeth Terenik to serve as business administrator.
