The Lower Township Council meets Monday night and may approve a new contract between the Township and its superior police officers. Sea Isle City will be considering a new set of beach regulations during a Council meeting on November 14th. Council will discuss various regulations including beach smoking, large holes that are dug on the beach, and the erection of large tents. A Capital Plan Workshop meeting will also be held on that date.
Wildwood Crest is seeking volunteers to help during an annual beach sweep event. Clean Ocean Action and Borough officials will sweep the beaches of litter and other debris during the morning hours of Saturday, October 21st. Volunteers can register for the event at Centennial Park.

Ocean City will be getting a big beach fill project that begins later this month. City officials announced that 1 million cubic yards of sand will be placed on the beaches between Seaspray Road and the 14th Street Pier. Dunes will be rebuilt as part of this federal beach project.
Stone Harbor Police have announced several street closings that will be in effect for a little over a week for various street repaving operations. Sections of Corinthian Drive, 98th Street, Sunset Drive, and 111th Street are among the streets to be repaved in the Borough.
