A man who died as a result of a crash of an ultralight aircraft Monday in South Jersey was from Vineland. 64 year old Gerard Asselta lost his life after his private ultralight plane took off and crashed near the Vineland-Downstown Airport. The Federal Aviation Administration will try to determine the cause of the accident.
Cape May County added 46 new cases of coronavirus on Monday. The County reports our area continues to have the lowest cases rate per capita of any county in New Jersey. Two of the cases were long term care cases in Woodbine.

A 44 year old Pleasantville man lost his life during an early morning motor vehicle accident Sunday. Absecon Police say the crash took place on South Shore Road around 2:30am Sunday. Killed in the accident was Glen Mclean, according to police. Speed is believed to be a contributing cause of the accident.
A 35 year old man is in critical condition following a weekend shooting at a trailer park on Route 49 in Cumberland County. NJ.com reports that the shooting took place at the Tips Trailer Park in Fairfield Township. Police say the victim was outdoors when he was shot.

A marathoner ran the entire length of New Jersey over the weekend, wrapping up his run in Cape May Point Sunday night. 32. year old Cole Crosby ran from High Point to Cape May Point, completing the run in just over 44 hours. The run totaled nearly 200 miles.
