Police say starting on November 21st they will be enforcing various laws including truck route violations, cell phone use while driving, and equipment and inspection violations. Ocean City has a new fire chief. James P. Smith is replacing Chris Breunig as the fire chief upon Breunig’s retirement. Smith has served Ocean City as its deputy chief for the past four years. He will retain his current salary of $137,000 during his probationary period.
