Ocean City’s 34th Street Bridge is scheduled to be closed for two hours during the overnight hours, Friday morning. The bridge will be shut down between the hours of 3-5pm to allow work crews to complete steel repairs on the south side of the bridge. The regular traffic pattern will return for the morning commute.
A couple of government meetings scheduled for Ocean City Wednesday evening have been cancelled. City officials announced that both the Board of Education and the Zoning Board meetings scheduled for Wednesday have been postponed by today’s bad weather. Both meetings will be held next week.
An Ocean City Boardwalk reconstruction project has been wrapped up in advance of Easter Weekend. Mayor Jay Gillian says the boardwalk has been rebuilt from Fifth Street south to 12th Street. Gillian also says there will be various improvements made in the city by Atlantic City Electric.
