A North Wildwood man has been arrested and charged with various drug offenses following an investigation at his home on 26th Street last Thursday. The Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office announced that Tahiem A. Howell was charged with the distribution of cocaine and other offenses. Authorities found distribution amounts of crack cocaine in Howell’s possession.

North Wildwood Police are seeking the public’s help with identifying the culprits who committed a theft involving a vending machine on the city’s boardwalk back in August. Police have released a video of the suspects on their social media page. If you have any information, call 522-2411.

North Wildwood Police will participate in the annual “Operation Take Back New Jersey” program on Saturday, October 28th. Police will be be stationed in the lobby of the Department where residents can properly dispose of their unwanted or expired medications. The program runs from 10am until 2pm.
North Wildwood Police were among many organizations to attend a career and internship fair at Stockton University last week. Police set up a table and announced they are currently accepting applications for seasonal employment during the summer of 2018.
The North Wildwood Police Department has announced the passing of retired Corporal Robert Champion. Champion worked for the department for 25 years, up until 2012. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the department when they are available.
The North Wildwood city council meets Tuesday afternoon with largely routine business on its agenda. Council will amend an ordinance that regulates fees charged for the removal of obnoxious growth, and will appoint a new school crossing guard. The meeting begins Tuesday at 5pm.
