NORTH WILDWOOD TO HOST TREE LIGHTING FRIDAY NIGHT

North Wildwood will host its annual tree lighting event on Friday night, December 1st.  The event will be held starting at 4:30pm, with the tree lighting at 5:00pm.  Various refreshments will be offered to the public at the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse.

ANGLESEA IRISH SOCIETY ANNOUNCES ANNUAL HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE

The Anglesea Irish Society has announced a pair of toy drives this holiday season, one to benefit local families and a second to benefit terminally ill children at Shriners Hospital in Philadelphia.  Toys will be accepted at Cape Island Realty, Wild Ocean Surf Shop, North Wildwood Shirt Shop, and the 7 Mile Brewery.

NORTH WILDWOOD TO RE-ELECT INCUMBENTS IN NON-CONTESTED ELECTION

No surprises for North Wildwood voters on election night as they are expected to return incumbents to office since all ran unopposed.  Mayor Patrick Rosenello earned another four year term in office, as do council members Edwin Koehler, David Del Conte, and Kellyann Tolomeo.

NORTH WILDWOOD TO GO OUT TO BID FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS

North Wildwood’s council will meet Wednesday to go out to bid for several improvement projects.  Council may authorize bids for 24th Avenue boardwalk access improvements, a bulkhead replacement for 14th and 15th avenues, and a municipal toilet contract.  Council may also establish a stipend program for its volunteer fire department.

FACADE IMPROVEMENT GRANT AWARDED BY WILDWOOD BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

A new sign for a business is up in downtown Wildwood courtesy of the Wildwood Business Improvement District.  A check presentation was made to the owners of Wild Scoop Ice Cream and Coffee Bar to finance the new sign for the business on Pacific Avenue.  The check was in the amount of $2,500.
