North Wildwood Police will hold its monthly community meeting on Tuesday. Tim Raker, from the New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife, will be the guest speaker and discuss conservation efforts. Someone who purchased a lottery ticket at Wawa in North Wildwood is $1 million richer. NJ.com reports that a lucky second prize Powerball ticket sold at the convenience store is worth $1 million. The ticket was purchased for last night’s drawing in which there was no top prize winner.

A 31 year veteran of the North Wildwood Beach Patrol has become its new chief. City officials announced that Bill Ciavarelli will replace Tony Cavalier, who retired. Ciavarelli has served as Captain of the beach patrol for the past 11 seasons.
