Another big win for the Wildwood Crest Beach Patrol Friday evening. The Crest took five of the six events at the Beschen Callahan Memorial Lifeguard Races in North Wildwood. The event honors two men who were killed in the Vietnam War.

The longtime owner and operator of Martino’s Hair World in North Wildwood has passed away at the age of 86. Joseph Martino of Ocean View died over the weekend. He was honored by North Wildwood for various fundraising activities in the city. Funeral services will be held Friday.
