Van Drew’s measure attempts to turn back a Trump administration proposal that makes fewer people eligible for various tax credits. Van Drew says his legislation is simple, and makes sense.
The Burlington Bristol Bridge is closed until further notice. The bridge closed early this morning after a vehicle struck a guardrail and severely damaged it. Repairs will have to be made to the bridge before it is allowed to re-open.

The Chief Chaplain of the New Jersey State Police passed away on Thanksgiving Day. Reverend Monsignor Phillip Lowery served as chaplain for nearly a quarter century, providing prayers and benedictions for State Police class graduations. He also comforted law enforcement personnel in their time of need.
