New Jersey confirmed 42 additional deaths Thursday from coronavirus. State officials say there were 2,605 new positive cases. Over 2.25 million vaccines have been handed out in the Garden State.

A 92 year old man is the latest local fatality from coronavirus. County officials say there were 33 new positive cases reported on Wednesday. The County’s rate of transmission remains below one.
UTILITY COMPANIES CANNOT SHUT OFF SERVICE DUE TO CORONAVIRUS
Utilities are prohibited from shutting off your service due to lack of payment courtesy of coronavirus. State officials announced Wednesday that the moratorium on utility shutoffs has now been extended through June 30th. If customers cannot pay their bills due to the virus, service cannot be shut off.
INDOOR WEDDING RECEPTION ATTENDANCE NOW 150, OR 35% OF CAPACITY
Indoor wedding reception attendance is now at 35 percent capacity, or 150 people, whichever number is less. Governor Murphy announced a slight relaxation in the regulations for indoor wedding receptions. Outdoor receptions are capped at 150 people.
STATE APPROVES SLEEPAWAY CAMPS FOR THE UPCOMING SUMMER SEASON
Governor Phil Murphy confirmed that sleepaway camps are approved for the summer season. Murphy says he made the announcement today due to the advance planning that is needed for the camps to operate.

48 NEW CORONAVIRUS DEATHS IN NEW JERSEY, RATE OF TRANSMISSION CLIMBS
The coronavirus pandemic has claimed an additional 48 lives in New Jersey over the past 24 hours. New figures released by the State show 2,820 new cases of the virus, and a slight increase in the rate of transmission. There has been a sharp decline in hospitalizations over the past two months.
NEW JERSEY AGAIN FAR BELOW 3,000 NEW CASES OF CORONAVIRUS
New Jersey is again far below 3,000 new cases of coronavirus. Governor Murphy announced Monday that there are 2,668 new cases of the virus in the Garden State. There were 26 in hospital deaths.
CLERGY, JUDICIAL, POSTAL WORKERS AMONG THOSE WHO CAN VACCINES THIS MONTH
In late March, a new class of New Jersey workers will be eligible to get coronavirus vaccines. Governor Murphy announced Monday afternoon that among the new classes of workers who can get vaccines include clergy, postal workers, food distribution workers, and elections personnel.
