Over 3.5 million people have already voted in the Garden State. Governor Phil Murphy revealed those figures on Monday. That number is about 90 percent of the entire number of people who voted in the presidential election four years ago.
An issue on the Garden State Parkway Sunday afternoon as a convoy to support President Trump briefly shut down traffic on the Parkway in central New Jersey. A new poll issued by Stockton University today puts the congressional race in a virtual dead heat. The new poll released Friday shows democrat Amy Kennedy one percentage point ahead of republican Jeff Van Drew. The poll’s margin of error is 3.7 percent.

The daily coronavirus case count in New Jersey is clearly going in the wrong direction. State officials announced Friday that there are 2,089 new cases of the virus, the first time we have surpassed the 2,000 figure since early May. There were nearly 300 new cases reported today in Essex County alone.

New Jersey has reported 1,477 new cases of coronavirus on Thursday. Governor Murphy made the revelation during his daily briefing on new cases. Essex County reported 241 new cases of the virus, leading the state.
