The Mega Millions lottery jackpot produced a $522 million winner in California. New Jersey Lottery officials say two tickets worth $1 million apiece were sold in the Garden State. The winning numbers were 1, 24, 19, 29 with a Megaball of 20.

New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal announced that all municipal prosecutors should not prosecute any marijuana related offense until then. New Jersey’s beaches are going smoke-free. Governor Phil Murphy signed a bill Friday morning in Long Branch that eliminates smoking at public beaches and parks in the Garden State. Towns may reserve up to 15 percent of their beaches for smoking, if they choose to.
