The armed standoff in Gloucester County has ended. Police there say an overnight standoff with a man armed with a gun ended peacefully this morning. The standoff resulted in schools being closed in Gloucester Township, and residents told to stay inside their homes.
An overnight fire has caused significant damage to a popular South Jersey diner. The Country Town Diner on the White Horse Pike in Berlin suffered heavy fire and smoke damage this morning.
