The Speaker of the New Jersey Assembly is warning Governor Phil Murphy that he cannot cut the Homestead Rebate program. Craig Coughlin tweeted over the weekend that Murphy cannot simply slice in half the amount of assistance given to property owners. Coughlin says he plans to restore the rebate program to full funding.
