Governor Phil Murphy has unveiled a new plan that intends to stimulate the economy. Murphy announced Monday that he wants to add 400,000 new jobs to the State’s economy by 2025, and see $625 million in new capital improvement projects. Murphy says the State must also do what it can to reduce poverty.
The New Jersey Senate race between incumbent Robert Menendez and republican challenger Bob Hugin is too close to call, according to a new Stockton University poll. The poll shows Menendez with a two point lead over Hugin which is within the poll’s margin of error. Stockton says the race is “up for grabs”.
The price you pay for a gallon of gasoline goes up Monday in the Garden State. Prices will rise slightly over four cents per gallon thanks to another increase in the gasoline tax imposed by the State. The extra money will finance transportation projects throughout New Jersey.
