Millville Police are continuing their investigating into a shooting incident on Friday. A man was shot in the face by an assailant; the victim was rushed to Cooper University Hospital in Camden. Police say the 33 year old man was shot in the 500 block of Columbia Avenue. No suspects are in custody.

Nearly $500,000 is coming to the Millville Municipal Airport. Congressman Frank LoBiondo announced that the Federal Aviation Administration is providing the funding to the DRBA which operates the airport. The money will be used to repair the runways and improve the lighting system at the airport.
A 22 year old Millville man has been indicted on attempted murder charges. Donald Couch allegedly fired a weapon through a glass door at the Dock Street Apartments last October. The victim was shot in the stomach and refused to cooperate with investigators. Couch is being held in jail on $500,000 cash bail.

The Millville City Commission decided to retain its municipal prosecutor during a special meeting held before the weekend. Michael Mazzoni kept his job and the Commission will try to educate itself about court operations in the city. The city attempted to fire Mazzoni in February after it thought nearly 20 cases were pending without prosecution.
An 18 year old Millville woman was injured, along with her 12-year old passenger during a motor vehicle accident Wednesday in Commercial Township. State Police say the crash occurred shortly before 7pm on Steep Run Road. Both were taken to the hospital with minor injuries; police continue to investigate.
A Millville man has been indicted this week on attempted murder charges. Jerome Langley has been indicted on five counts relating to the shooting of 20 year old Devontae Brooks back on November 5th. Brooks was shot once in the leg. Langley is being held in jail on $1 million cash bail.
