Millville Police have arrested and charged a 62 year old woman with stealing nearly $60,000 from a woman’s group that provides funding to the St. Nicholas Ukranian Church in the city. A woman who has a cocaine habit turned herself in to Millville Police, pleading for help to get off the drug. The Daily Journal reports that the woman lost her two daughters to a child protection agency earlier this month and voluntarily asked for help.
Traffic continues to be diverted off Route 47 in Millville as emergency work is performed on the bridge over Menatico Creek. State transportation officials say traffic will be taken off Route 47 in both directions until the work is completed. Drivers will take routes 49 and 55 as an alternate route. ##

A New Jersey Transit bus struck a male pedestrian on Route 47 under the Route 55 overpass in Millville Tuesday afternoon. Police say the 45 year old man was airlifted to Cooper Hospital in Camden. Millville Police are investigating. ##

The wife of Millville City Commissioner David Ennis was injured when her vehicle collided with a tractor trailer on Tuesday. Crystal S. Ennis was taken to Cooper Hospital following the accident. Ennis’ vehicle veered into the southbound lane of Main Road in Millville just before the accident. ##
A Millville man who killed his father over a lid belonging to a teapot eight years ago has been denied his appeal. Dreu Ferguson Jr. was convicted of killing his father, then covering the body with lime and buried his father under the back porch of the family home. ##
One of the three people who were shot in Bridgeton Wednesday night has died as a result of his injuries. Bridgeton Police say the deceased is a 25 year old man from Millville; cops recovered 23 spent shell casings at the scene. ##
