Millville Police are investigating a shooting incident Tuesday evening that left a man with a shoulder injury. Police say a 26 year old man was shot in the shoulder on North 2nd Street Tuesday night. The victim was walking into a Dollar Plus store when he was shot; no suspects are in custody.
Millville Police are investigating two shooting incidents that occurred during a four day span recently. The Daily Journal reports that a man was shot in the buttocks on West Broad Street Friday night; on Monday night, there were no injuries resulting from a shooting on North 5th Street. A 54 year old Millville man was arrested in Atlantic City Monday when he was spotted by police selling drugs along Ocean Avenue. Police say Derrick Jenkins fled the scene on a bike, and was eventually captured with over 50 bags of heroin in his possession.
