Indian Trail Road in Middle Township could be the site of a medical marijuana facility. Township officials will hold a public information meeting on August 5th to discuss the proposal from INSA, a cannabis cultivation and distribution company. The facility is proposed to be located on the site of the former LaMonica Brands processing plant.

New Jersey Lottery officials say a recent winning Jersey Cash 5 ticket was sold at the Acme Supermarket in Cape May Court House. Officials say the ticket sold for the June 21st drawing is worth over $71,000.
The Middle Township Planning Board meeting this week is expected to include a presentation about the future of the former KMart store in Rio Grande. The County is intending to convert the property to more of a public use. The meeting will be held at Township Hall Thursday at 7pm.
Middle Township Police report some coyote sightings along the bicycle path in the Township. The sightings have largely been reported between Goshen Road and Court House South Dennis Road. There have been no reports of the coyotes approaching people or acting aggressively. The police department has notified New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife.
