New Jersey State Police are looking for two suspects who vandalized boats at the Lighthouse Point Marina in Lower Township. Two boats were vandalized back on October 13th. The suspects allegedly drilled holes into the hulls of two vessels. Anonymous tips are welcome.

Lower Township Police have issued an alert for 70 year old Dale McElfresh who was reported missing Sunday afternoon. Police say McElfresh was last seen walking on Breakwater Road in the vicinity of Shunpike Road. Police are asking the public to call them in the event McElfresh is located.

Lower Township Police announced that portions of Town Bank Road and Shunpike Road will be closed for four hours Sunday morning. There will be a “Run the Vineyards 5K Run” Sunday, and the roads will be closed starting at 8:00am. There will be some traffic delays in the area.
Hydrants are being flushed this week in Lower Township. The Township’s MUA announced that hydrant flushing is occurring throughout the community between the hours of 7:00am-3:00pm. The anticipated completion date is November 10th.
Lower Township Police have announced several arrests in connection with the shootings of two individuals with AirSoft guns in the community in late September. Several juveniles, along with 18 year old Elijah Jackson of Cape May, have been charged by police. Jackson was charged with multiple counts of aggravated assault, and other offenses.
