Egg Harbor Township Police say the driver of a vehicle that was involved in a rollover accident Friday near the English Creek Shopping Center was hospitalized. Police say the crash occurred shortly before 12 Noon Friday and involved two vehicles. It took police about a half hour to clear the accident scene.
A 36 year old Egg Harbor Township man has been charged with murder after he allegedly beat his girlfriend to death with a hammer. Police say Lashawn Smith is charged with murder in Friday’s killing of 28 year old Sarah Phillips. Phillips was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 61 year old Egg Harbor Township man was killed during a two vehicle accident in the Township Tuesday morning. Police say the accident on Somers Point-Mays Landing Road killed Louis Salotto of the Township; the other driver, 32 year old Kyle W. Platt, was not seriously injured.
