Four Cumberland County residents have been charged by State Police with various drugs and weapons offenses. Among them was 27 year old James Rose of Bridgeton, who is accused of operating a drug business out of a mobile home park in Vineland. Rose and others have been slapped with various weapons and drug offenses.
A 67 year old owner of an ice cream shop in Vineland has been convicted on charges that he videoed female juvenile workers changing clothes at his shop. A jury convicted Larry Bostic of Cool Breeze Ice Cream on five counts of child endangerment. The recordings were made in June, 2017.
Rowan College of South Jersey became an entity on Monday. The new college is a merger of county colleges in Cumberland and Gloucester counties. The Board of Trustees for the new merged college signed the letter of agreement during a ceremony on Monday.

Five puppies who are in need of medical care were found dumped along the side of a road in Cumberland County. The South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter is caring for the puppies and has raised over $4,800 to help defray medical costs. They have already been treated by a vet.
One man was killed in a crash between a minivan and a tractor trailer on County Road 661 in Cumberland County on Tuesday. State Police say 31 year old Loeub Mak of Essington, PA was killed; he was a passenger in the minivan. Five others were injured but are expected to survive.
